We are excited to hire for this permanent and full time opportunity as our Senior JavaScript Developer – you will be a key player in our business intelligence platform.  You will get to work with in an intelligent and enthusiastic team that is responsible for all aspects of the engineering process; from technical design to agile development and verification, followed by testing and deployment.
Responsibilities include, yet are not limited to:
  • Participating in business case studies, product design and software development to understand the use cases and enhance and improve Control’s web platform
  • Building customer facing websites and RESTful applications
  • Working with product owners and mobile developers to define product features
  • Architect, design, debug and develop the next version of Control’s API
To be considered for this position, you will have a combination of:
  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher in Computing Science or comparable experience/technical degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and back end development
  • Server-side development in JavaScript (Node.js)
  • Extensive experience with MySQL and NoSQL
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team environment
To be a top candidate for this position, you would have:
  • Experience working within a technology / start up environment
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in web application development
  • Good knowledge of version control software (GitLab), and agile methodologies
  • Experience with Cloud deployment such as Google Cloud Platform/AWS
