Purpose

Purpose
The Event Delivery Manager (EDM) is responsible for delivering all tappit events in the territory, assisting other territories where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the regional delivery team including Event Delivery Coordinators
- Ensure event delivery staff are recruited for region wide coverage
- Capture and communicate the client requirements
- Set up the event in conjunction with the technical team
- Organise training for client operational staff
- Supervise and assist client staff onsite
- Track and maintain inventory including the readers and chips in the territory
- Identify technical issues, test them, and liaise with the technical team
- Feedback product issues to development team
- Proactively and assertively manage clients and their teams
- Assist creating client and internal reports
- Other tasks as directed
- Manage multiple events and projects concurrently
- Complete tasks on time, in particular for deployments
- Independently train and supervise client users
- Deal with clients and other employees professionally at all times
- Identify, communicate and track all issues with the development team and internally
- Ensure all responsibilities are delivered in line with budgets
- Ensure Client Satisfaction results are in line with targets
- Excellent written and oral English (bilingual where required in territory)
- Ability to train unqualified users on simple business processes and technology
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Calm under pressure
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills
- Managing a team
- Preferred though not required; experience in Food and Beverage, retail or front of house use of POS devices and reporting
- Preferred experience of working in an environment with intermittent periods of high pressure / deadlines
- Must have previous experiene in a event delivery role
- Spoken / written local language an advantage
- Intermediate or above Google Docs skills, in particular Google Sheets
- Technical knowledge of RFID, ticketing or event technologies
- Valid unrestricted passport for global travel
- APEC card if available but not essential
